Overview:

  • This is a dynamic role for an experienced Corporate Communications Executive specializing in internal branding and communications. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of communication skills, creative flair, and a deep understanding of employee relations. This role is vital in shaping and maintaining a positive corporate culture and ensuring alignment with the brand identity.
  • 1 year contract role that is convertible to permanent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement internal communication strategies that reinforce the Hitachi's brand and its values among employees.
  • Create compelling messaging and content internally, including (but not limited to) newsletters, intranet, emails, and corporate events.
  • Collaborate closely with our HQ offices, as well as regional offices in Southeast Asia to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all internal channels.
  • Develop and execute internal communications' programs and events that will foster a better working relation and a sense of belonging among employees.
  • Stay informed with the latest trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in internal communications, and recommend innovative approaches to continuously improve initiatives.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador and advocate for brand excellence, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines, voice, and tone in all communications internally.
  • Handle ad-hoc requests and projects as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

  • Degree/Diploma in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field. Advanced degree or certification in Corporate Communications is a plus.
  • 3 years' experience in corporate communications, with a focus on internal branding and communications, preferably in an MNC.
  • Good knowledge of the B2B landscape in Southeast Asia, especially in technology and innovation.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for crafting clear, concise, and engaging messaging tailored to diverse audiences. Ability to proofread is an added advantage.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using communication tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite, ZOOM, and email marketing platforms etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
  • Creative mindset and innovative thinking, with a passion for storytelling and developing engaging content that resonates with employees.
