Job Description:

As a Business Analyst at Starhigh, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic decision-making and operational excellence. You will leverage your analytical skills to analyze market trends, financial data, and project performance, providing valuable insights to support key stakeholders. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will identify opportunities for optimization, growth, and risk mitigation, ensuring the success of our projects and business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of market dynamics, competitor activity, and industry trends within the marine dredging sector, aligning with Starhigh's strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and finance teams to gather data and insights on project performance, costs, and profitability, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Develop financial models, forecasts, and performance metrics to evaluate project feasibility and financial viability, contributing to informed decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and revenue enhancement through data-driven analysis and insights, in line with Starhigh's commitment to sustainability.
  • Prepare regular reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders, supporting transparency and informed decision-making.
  • Support business development efforts by conducting market research, identifying potential clients, and assessing project opportunities, contributing to Starhigh's growth strategy.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and emerging trends impacting the marine dredging industry, informing company strategies and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role within the marine dredging or maritime industry, with a track record of delivering impactful insights and recommendations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and financial statements, aligned with Star High Dredging's commitment to excellence.
  • Familiarity with marine dredging operations, project management principles, and coastal engineering, supporting informed analysis and decision-making.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis tools, and business intelligence software, enabling effective analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders, fostering collaboration and alignment.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality, ensuring the integrity of data and analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, embodying Star High Dredging's values of teamwork and professionalism.
