Perfumer Assistant

Key Accountabilities:

. Responsible for accurate, timely and efficient blending of the fragrances for the perfumer and to provide oils to the application department for trials

. Assist the perfumers in compounding fragrance formula and by preparing small accords, bases, dilutions, etc.

. Responsible for maintaining documentation of the perfumer (formulations, requisitions etc.)

. Maintain data and formulations

. Ensure Documentation Compliance and Reporting

. Team player displaying strong networking and communication skills within/across functions.

. Housekeeping of the Perfumery laboratory

. Assist the perfumers in compounding and by preparing small accords, bases etc.

. Assist other Lab personnel in their tasks in Compounding and other labs/department depending on the tasks assigned by the Manager and assigned Lead/Supervisor

. Responsible for the olfactive assessment of raw materials prior to using it in blends

. Maintaining the stock level of raw materials, packaging materials, etc required in the Perfumery laboratory.

Good Verbal & Written Communication Skills

Education:

. Diploma/Graduate in Science (Cosmetic / Perfumery / Fragrances) or related science courses

. Higher NITEC ITE

Experience:

. 1-2 years relevant experience in compounding formulation is preferred Fresh graduates are welcome

. Technical knowledge of Raw materials, Safety regulations, Lab systems, etc.

Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment handling is desirable
