Our client is a leading provider of analytical and scientific instruments, offering innovative solutions for a wide range of industries and they are looking for a highly motivated Senior Application Specialist to join the team.

About the job

As a Senior Application Specialist for the organization, you are required to:

  • Lead pre-sales and post-sales application support for ICP-MS and other atomic and molecular spectroscopy productss, such as hands-on application development and troubleshooting with ICP-MS and other techniques such as ICP-OES, AAS, UV-Vis spectrophotometry, FTIR, etc.
  • Efficiently develop and optimize analytical methods, workflows, and application notes for a variety of samples, ensuring accuracy and precision.
  • Offer technical assistance by comprehending analytical requirements and providing training sessions for customers as well as internal sales personnel from distributors and subsidiaries.
  • Conduct product demonstrations for new and existing customers, highlighting the key benefits of spectroscopy products.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to contribute to continuous improvements in analytical capabilities.
  • Participate in product development initiatives, offering insights and recommendations based on application expertise.

Requirements

  • To succeed in this role, you must possess a PhD or Master's degree in related disciplines, preferably with minimum 4 years of related work experience
  • Hands-on experience in ICP-MS and spectroscopy applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Willingness to travel in the ASEAN and South Asia region.
