Job Description
- Classroom teaching to Japanese students (medium of instructions: Japanese)
- Prepare lesson material and assignments in compliance with Japanese curriculum and Japanese school examinations requirement (language to be used: Japanese)
- Report to Management on student progress and achievement
- Provide timely counselling to Japanese students and their parents regarding academic progress and overall conduct support students to meet academic goals
- Oversee class management and administration according to school's policies and procedures
- Maintain high standard of student conduct and discipline
- Any ad-hoc duties as required.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Educational Qualification must be acceptable for teacher registration with MOE
- Minimum a Bachelor degree
- Japanese proficiency must be at native level all classes are taught in Japanese
- At least 5 years of experience in academic field and teaching Japanese language to Japanese students.
- Good communication skills to maintain good relationship with students, parents and colleagues
- Prior experience in multi-cultural and diverse workplace environment
- Willing to commit to the following working hours: 5 weekdays - 1pm to 10pm and Saturday - 9:30am to 7pm
- Expected monthly renumeration is S$6,000 â€' S$7,000. Final monthly renumeration depends on relevant experience and qualifications.
Location: 5-8mins walk from Somerset MRT
