Roles & Responsibilities
  • Develop software using JAVA for the Calypso v14.4 package.
  • Manage incidents and requests from both business users and other IT teams.
  • Analyze enhancement requests and bug-fixes for the software.
  • Adhere to the monthly release strategy, following team milestones for analysis, coding, and testing.
  • Provide support for the release roadmap during production.
  • Offer level 3 application support as an expert.
  • Analyze user needs and create software solutions.
  • Update and enhance existing software capabilities, directing software testing and validation procedures.
  • Collaborate with other engineers to integrate hardware and/or software systems.
Qualifications and Profile:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Calypso developer.
  • Strong understanding of Java, PL/SQL, and Linux.
  • Experience with Calypso versions higher than v13.
  • Expertise in Calypso Back office functionality, including hands-on experience in customizing various Calypso dules, such as Confirmations, Settlement, Position, and Accounting.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial assets, including repos, bonds, SLB, and issuances, along with a thorough understanding of the trade lifecycle.
  • Experience with regulatory reporting tools like HRF, NORIA, MMSR.
  • Proficiency in interfacing Calypso with external systems.
  • Familiarity with version control tools such as GIT, MasterDeploy, SVN, build automation tools like JENKINS, and containerization technologies like Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  •  Database expertise in Oracle, Sybase, and MongoBD.
