The M&E Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and execution of all M&E works at site in a timely manner.

A summary of the responsibilities of this position are as follows:

. Understand contract requirements and M&E specifications in order to monitor progress, quality of workmanship and compliance with project requirements/construction schedule.

. Liaise with design consultants on the design intent.

. Coordinate with in-house architectural & structural team to minimize discrepancies.

. Check and prepare material samples with shop drawing submission.

. Assist in M&E coordination meeting.

. Prepare M&E coordination drawings and liaise with Architectural Coordinators and Design Engineers for drawing issuance.

. Assess, prepare and submit progress claims for project consultants & subcontractors.

. Coordinate and assist site superintendent on installation and maintenance of site temporary utilities services.

. Adherence to safety practices in the workplace.

. Ability to manage and solve complex problems at site.

. Understand all the codes of practice.

. Able to design and build to meet employer and authority requirements.

Requirements

. Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University

. Minimum 1-3 years' M&E service experience in Mid-scale building and A&A integration work
