  • Manage demurrage exposure for Gasoline desk trade related activities / voyage contracts.
  • Analyze and negotiate desk's demurrage payables and receivables.
  • Prepare demurrage computation for timely submission to relevant counterparts/stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely collection from counterparts for outstanding claims and keep track of incoming funds.
  • Work with cargo operators closely to manage claims files and meticulous documentation.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly demurrage status report and provide monthly demurrage accruals.
  • Work with contract desk onpurchase & sales contracts with regards to delivery nomination, Laytime & demurrage clauses
  • Check freight invoices and endorse for approval/payment.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience in oil & gas industry.
  • Effective negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills (both verbal and written).
  • Analytical, strong numerical and spreadsheet skills.
  • Meticulous and attentive to details
  • Hardworking, results oriented, always strive for excellence.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced work environment.
