Purpose

As a GFS Support TechnoFunctional Specialist, the key role is to perform IT support and enable integrations and reports of the financial and procurement processes, work out enhancements in line with the business requirements and within the globally defined designs. You will participate in the maintenance and support, end-user engagement and collaboration and enhancements for the PSA Group of companies globally. You will report to the Senior Manager (Group IT) - Global Financial System.

Responsibilities

  • Play a significant role in connecting and bridging between the business and global IT for Oracle Fusion Cloud technical support and maintenance.
  • Proactively monitor integrations that integrate Fusion with other sub-systems, to maintain system availability in accordance with SLA
  • Interact with users for identifying / troubleshooting issues
  • Bug fixes, performance enhancements on existing integrations and reports
  • Interact with sub-system owners for file re-processing / re-triggering REST services as needed
  • Duty roster support on regular basis, will need to support non-Singapore users after office hours
  • Work with INFRA team on deployment of technical objects to Fusion/OIC Live environment
  • Design, development, testing and documentation of new custom integrations and reports
  • Perform changes to the system in accordance to the proposed solution and agreed timeline.
  • Assist functional team in data migration activities during PB1, PB2, UAT and Production
  • Support SIT/UAT for new entities Fusion roll-out
  • Develop and execute test scripts and escalate defects to internal or external parties.
  • Able to work in US office hours/time-zone.
  • Able to travel within America/Europe region on needs basis.
  • Able to participate in calls during Singapore time-zone for status updates and collaborations (estimated 2 calls per week).

Requirements

Professional Background/Functional Skills

  • Holds a bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or any related discipline.
  • Knowledge of Accounting and Financial processes.
  • Experience in supporting Oracle Fusion regionally or globally.
  • At least 3 years of Oracle Fusion Cloud Technical / Techno-functional experience in at least one or more of these modules
    • General Ledger, Payables, Cash Management, Assets, Receivables, and Expenses.
    • Self-service procurement, Sourcing, Supplier Qualification, Contracts, Inventory and Maintenance.
    • Oracle Fusion Consolidation Cloud Services and Profitability and Cost Management, Project Costing will be an added advantage.
  • Good understanding of Oracle PaaS & SaaS architecture and PaaS technologies - ICS Integration Cloud Service, VBCS Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service, PCS Oracle Process Cloud Service, OTBI and BI Reports, ATP database.
  • Strong knowledge in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming.
  • Proficient in enhancing standard Oracle Reports and in building custom Oracle BI Reports, OTBI reports and SmartView.
  • Experience in developing OIC Integrations using webservices/REST Services, building custom UI screens and workflow approvals using VBCS and WCS.
  • Experience in using FBDI templates for Customers / Suppliers / Banks / AR Invoices / Journals and extracting data for these templates.
  • Ability to read and understand existing integrations / reports and then perform bug fixes / enhancements on them.
  • Should be able to prepare technical documentation for customizations, SIT test scripts
  • Experience in using Oauth authentication for Fusion / OIC integrations, Fusion Reports performance tuning, Linux scripting would be advantageous.
  • Experienced in reviewing and supporting Oracle quarterly patches for Fusion and OIC.
  • Should be familiar with raising Oracle SRs and working closely with Oracle Product Team towards quick resolution of them.
  • Familiar with Service Level Agreement (SLA).
  • Oracle Certifications or other Professional Certifications are an added advantage.

  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication to communicate effectively with the users and their managers as well as the vendors, system analysts, and system engineers supporting you.
  • Good analysis skills to understand the business requirements, to design the solution, to develop the changes in the system to fulfill the users' requirements.
  • Capable of preparing internal training materials and documentation.
  • Willing to multi-task, explore and learn new methods of doing things.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Proficient in the English language, written and oral.
  • Spanish language, written and oral is a plus.
