Job Description:

1. Parent Engagement: Building strong partnerships with parents and guardians through effective communication, addressing concerns, and maintaining a positive and inclusive centre community.

2. Staff Management: Assisting in the recruitment, selection, and professional development of teaching and support staff. Conducting regular performance evaluations, training, and providing constructive feedback to promote growth and excellence.

3. Administrative Duties: Assisting in the development and implementation of centre policies and procedures. Overseeing administrative tasks such as student enrolment, scheduling, budget management, maintenance, and record-keeping to ensure efficient centre operations.

4. Educational Leadership: Assisting the Principal in developing and implementing a comprehensive inquiry-based educational program that aligns with the centre's philosophy, policies, and objectives. Providing guidance and support to teachers to ensure high-quality instruction and student achievement.

5. Curriculum Development: Collaborating with teachers to develop and enhance the inquiry-based curriculum, incorporating innovative teaching strategies and ensuring it meets the needs of diverse learners. Conducting regular assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (required).

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in early childhood education, including leadership or administrative roles.

- Strong knowledge of child development theories, best practices, and current trends in early childhood education.

- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external stakeholders.

- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

- Proficient in using educational technology and software.
