Singapore Cognita Asia Holdings Pte. Ltd. Full time

Position Objective

Cognita is looking for an Assistant Project Manager who will assist with the implementation of Cognita's key strategic project in Singapore along with other Estates initiatives within Asia. The role is focussed on providing support for the design and delivery of the Singapore project as well as supporting the Estates function across the Asia region.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Project Management and Execution

  • Assist with the planning, execution, and successful delivery of the Singapore project and Estates function across the Asia Region.
  • Provide input into and assist with reviewing detailed project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, resources, budget, and timelines.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, assist with the implementation of corrective actions as needed to ensure project goals are met.
  • Engage with project delivery team and relevant stakeholders (Asia Regional office, in country support teams and schools)

2. Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with different departments within the Asia regional office, and with schools to gather requirements, align on project objectives and ensure successful project execution
  • Maintain and build effective communication channels with stakeholders to manage expectations and address concerns.

3. Risk and resource Management

  • Proactively identify project risks and challenges related to project execution.
  • Assist with the development of mitigation measures to manage risks and contingency plans .

4. Reporting and Documentation

  • Assist with the creation of regular project status reports, including KPIs and/or other metrics.
  • Assist with the review of project documentation
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and any other necessary documentation in support of project delivery.

Position Requirements

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools - e.g, Project Management Life Cycle, Agile methodology, MS projects, gantt chart, etc.
  • Advanced MS Office knowledge
  • Excellent Organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills - ability to operate in a matrix organization and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding communication skills in English (written, spoken, presentation)
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and environments.
  • Commercial awareness
  • High resilience and versatility with a Can Do attitude

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years' work experience of which at least 3 years is in managing projects across various workstreams (cross-functional).
  • Experience in construction / development project delivery is beneficial.
  • Project Management certification is beneficial.
