Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive technical support to end-users, addressing hardware and common software issues on office computers.
  • Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, software, and peripherals.
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as system updates, backups, and antivirus scans to uphold IT system security and integrity.
  • Collaborate closely with IT team members, adhering to standard operating procedures (SOP) and best practices to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Aid in managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls across various platforms and applications.
  • Participate in the procurement and inventory management of IT equipment and software licenses, including issuing, collecting, and recording IT assets according to established procedures.
  • Document IT procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps to maintain an up-to-date knowledge base.
  • Monitor basic network and system health and uptime, ensuring the maintenance of IT server rooms in accordance with guidelines.
  • Assist in the disposal of Beyond Economic Repair (BER) devices and the retirement of End-of-Life (EOL) devices and/or operating systems.
  • Undertake other ad-hoc tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum diploma or above in IT/Computer Engineering or related field.
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin to effectively support end-users from China.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in IT helpdesk support and office administration.
  • Comfortable with a contract duration of 3 to 6 months, with potential for extension.
