DM NDT, a leading I.R.M. services company in the Marine, Oil and Gas and Petrochemical industries and part of DM Group Services, is currently looking for 6G Welder to join their team on a full time basis.

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for completing routine welding tasks that are within clearly defined processes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Determining the appropriate welding equipment or method based on project requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, designs and sketches
  • Weld components in flat, vertical, horizontal, and overheard positions
  • Manage welding work and ensure compliance to all specifications to perform defect work
  • Shall be ready to do other jobs like painting, mechanical, inspection when there are no welding jobs
  • Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by supervisor

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS (must haves/essentials to be in bold, others in regular font)

  • Good written and spoken English
  • Valid certificate in welding from an accredited institution (6G Qualified)
  • Must have experience in Welding processes SMAW, GMAW and GTAW [Atleast 5 years of experience as welder and fabricator ]
  • SG experience is beneficial
  • MS office, computer knowledge is beneficial
  • Assist site personnel
  • Physically fit
