We are looking for a passionate Cyber Security Architect to join our Cyber Security Team.

The Architect is required to participate in developing strategy and architecture vision for the company. The Architect integrates cyber architectural design with existing and future infrastructure. The Architect determines the impact of proposed new technologies and makes recommendations for their secure deployment.

The Architect identifies areas of potential improvement for developing and integrating secure architecture in coordination with cyber security architects, IT architects and business, industry, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop strategy and cyber security technology road map to have a defensible and security-resilient Network and Systems Architecture
  • Design cyber security architecture in accordance with business units, cyber security architects, and IT architects considering current and forward-looking network and system design
  • Create, develop, and maintain detailed cyber security design documentation
  • Meet regularly with the IT architects to ensure cyber and IT infrastructure and design alignment
  • Provide cyber security guidance for business and IT projects
  • Serve as a technological subject matter expert for current and future cyber security protection design
  • Determine security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements, researching information security standards, conducting system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments, studying architecture/platform, identifying integration issues.
  • Address technical questions that vendors and the project team have regarding the implementation of the technology or process
  • Work with the project team and vendors to establish an implementation plan and timeline
  • Work with the vendor and the project team to make sure the technology gets implemented within project timeline, budget and according to specifications
  • Responsible for ensuring that any problems or issues get resolved for projects assigned
  • Communicate effectively at different levels within and outside the organization
  • Stay current on malware, infiltration and investigative techniques, forensics, and the threat environment.
  • Participate in Architecture Review Board (ARB) to present, review, raise security control gaps and to escalate possible critical security issues. Establish security best practices across the company
  • Study, understand and design the new solution from scratch to integrate with the current infrastructure
  • Work with vendors and various stakeholders to develop architecture design, Bill of Materials (BOM) for Request of Quotation (RFQ), Purchase Request Form (PRF) and Request for Proposal (RFP)
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science/ Engineering, Information Technology / Related Discipline
  • IT Certifications such as CCNP, CISSP, CCSP or equivalent
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in IT architecture/Cyber Security
  • Knowledge in Technology Security standards and best practices
  • Knowledge in Network Architecture and Systems design as well as device configuration
  • Knowledge in Firewall, IPS, Proxy, Network Access Control, Switching, Routing, VLAN, VRF, Load Balancer, Web Application Firewall, Multi-Factor Authentication, Zero Trust Network, SIEM, Deception Technology and Sandbox, Data Loss Protection,
  • Knowledge of the Cloud Service Providers' (AWS, Azure and GCP) Security Architecture
  • Knowledge in VPCs, VNETS, VPN Gateways, Load Balancers, Azure Firewalls, Workloads such as VMs and Containers, Identity and Access Management, SCIM, Azure APIM, etc.
  • Familiar with OAuth, SAML and Authentication/SSO standard
  • Knowledge in DevSecOps, API Security and Application Security is advantageous
  • High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork
  • Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes
  • Awareness of cyber technology vendor offerings and maintains appropriate relationships with vendors
  • Problem solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a constantly changing environment
  • Ability to manage deadlines and changing priorities
  • Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to demonstrate a calm demeanor when faced with chaotic circumstances
