The Research Fellow will work on the project for the development of optical strategies for enantiomer separation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identification of socially important enantiomers for separation and detection (i.e. Thalidomide)
  • Develop optical theories and concepts for the separation and detection of enantiomers
  • Develop chiral optical devices and systems necessary that selectively imparts energy to the desired enantiomer
  • Develop hybrid micro-fluidic/optical flow systems
  • Develop test setups for micro-fluidic/optical test setups


Job Requirement
  • PhD in chemical engineering
  • Chemical synthesis
  • Photonic device, and system design
  • Ability to publish in academic journals, and present in conferences
  • Ability to work well in a team, and collaborate with other research groups
  • Production of photonic layouts using gdsfactory
  • Knowledgeable in MATLAB and Python is necessary
  • Knowledgeable in Ansys Lumerical FDTD, MODE, INTERCONNECT, CML COMPILER, MULTIPHYSICS
  • Prior experience in the above will be a bonus
