About the Role
As the Wealth Advisor, the jobholder is the subject matter expert on trust, tax and estate planning matters, and delivers our High Net Worth (HNW) services in driving our business in the segment. The jobholder will lead the development of related products and services and develop programs in upskilling our channels.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Plan and deliver our value-added services to HNW clients.
- Work closely with sales teams and intermediaries to promote our trust, tax and estate planning services in order to drive sales for this segment.
- Act as the subject matter expert in client meetings and advise on trust related matters with the aim of acquiring new businesses.
- Contribute to discussions with internal or external trustees, tax & legal consultants and other vendors to deliver related services and responds to client service requests.
- Develop and provide related training, sharing sessions and communication materials to sales teams.
- Provide thought leadership and insights to future proposition development and support related projects.
- Ensure strict adherence to internal compliance, governance guidelines and market regulations
- Provide support to ad hoc projects arising from time to time.
- Contribute to development of AIAS' comprehensive HNW proposition, achieving the distribution activation, VoNB and strategic targets while aligning with internal compliance/governance guidelines and market regulations
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- University graduate or equivalent (preferably with major in accounting, law, or company secretary) with 10 years or more of experience in the provision of wealth advisory services to HNW segment.
- Solid understanding and expertise in trust, tax and estate planning.
- Sound understanding on SG laws and tax regime of key countries/regions and other applicable laws and regulations.
- Experience in using insurance products together with other planning tools in structuring a legacy plan.
- Possession of, or perusing related professional qualifications (e.g. CPA, etc.).
- Customer service focus with excellent communication and interpersonal skill.
- Ability to work under pressure on multiple priorities.
