Our client is a leading biopharmaceutical manufacturing organisation with a strong commitment to quality, operational excellence and patient safety. They are seeking a Manufacturing Technical Specialist on a contract basis to support manufacturing operations across campaign readiness, execution and product release.
Role
You will support Manufacturing Operations throughout the full campaign lifecycle, ensuring activities are appropriately planned, documented and executed in accordance with GMP requirements. This includes preparing and revising Master Batch Records, change controls, GMP documentation and operational risk assessments.
You will support technology transfers, pre-campaign readiness and manufacturing training activities, partnering closely with Manufacturing, Quality and Engineering teams. A key aspect of the role will be managing manufacturing deviations, CAPAs, investigation actions, rejected materials and related follow-up activities.
You will lead or support root-cause, product-impact and trend investigations, contribute to deviation review forums, and ensure actions are completed to enable timely lot disposition and product release. You will also support audit readiness and the timely resolution of audit observations.
Requirements
The successful candidate will hold a degree in Engineering, Biotechnology, Life Sciences or a related discipline, with relevant experience gained in a GMP pharmaceutical or biologics manufacturing environment.
You should possess a sound understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment and GMP documentation requirements. Hands-on experience in Master Batch Records, deviations, CAPAs, change controls, risk assessments and root-cause investigations is essential.
Candidates should demonstrate strong technical writing, communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work independently and manage changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
