We are seeking a visionary General Manager for the APAC region to lead the diagnostics and point-of-care business through its next phase of strategic growth and transformation. This role carries full country-level P&L accountability across multiple markets and will be instrumental in driving operational excellence, shaping organisational culture, and delivering sustainable results.

As a key member of the global leadership community, the General Manager will partner closely with senior executives and board-level stakeholders to set strategic direction, transform business models, and ensure commercial success in a complex and diverse region. This role is a critical part of their succession pipeline for future global leadership positions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a multi-year growth strategy aligned with corporate objectives and market opportunities. Deliver country-level and regional P&L targets, ensuring top-line growth and bottom-line performance.
  • Lead large-scale transformation initiatives, from business model shifts to operational modernisation.
  • Navigate the complexity of multiple countries, cultures, and regulatory environments across APAC.
  • Engage directly with board members, investors, healthcare authorities, and other senior stakeholders.
  • Build and develop high-performing leadership teams across diverse markets.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of P&L ownership in complex, multi-country businesses, preferably in diagnostics, medical devices, or healthcare technology.
  • Regional or global leadership experience with exposure to cross-border operations and multi-cultural environments.
  • Deep expertise in stakeholder engagement, including government, regulatory bodies, distributors, and healthcare systems.
  • BA degree in life sciences, or related field; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, etc.) preferred.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the APAC region.
  • Candidate must be located in either South East or North East Asia.
