Job Summary

We are looking for a Test Analyst to carry out QA Testing for projects in a reputed banking institution.

Mandatory Skill-set

  • Degree in Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Computing, or Finance;
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in testing;
  • Experience with Trading or Banking Domain;
  • Experience with order management systems and exchange trading engines is beneficial;
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks like Selenium, JIRA, and Agile/Waterfall/DevOps methodologies;
  • Strong project/time management, collaboration, and communication skills;
  • Proactive with a go-getter attitude.

Desired Skill-set

  • Experience in Automation testing tools namely Selenium or Tosca.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business and technology team to ensure effective end to end testing;
  • Execute test scripts, raise defects in tracking system (e.g. Jira) and follow through on defect resolution;
  • Responsible for raising problem tickets to the technology team for issues encountered during system testing;
  • Carry out cross-platform test planning and execution;
  • Coordinating with technical teams to ensure tests are completed successfully;
  • Experience in creating comprehensive test cases based on user requirements;
  • Responsible for escalating unresolved issues or blockers to managers or test leads to ensure continued test progress;
  • Responsible for providing regular status updates on test progress and defect status.
