Job description

Pre- Requisites

We seek dynamic teachers for various subjects who are able to:

  • prepare and deliver lessons to a range of classes of different ages and abilities
  • mark work, give appropriate feedback and maintain records of pupils' progress and development
  • prepare pupils for external examinations and competitions
  • manage pupil behavior in the classroom and on school premises, and apply appropriate and effective measures in cases of misbehavior
  • communicate with parents, communicates pupils' progress and participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings and organizational training events
  • help students reach their full potential and should be passionate about teaching;
  • work well in a team while contributing ideas and sharing course materials;
  • inspire young people from all backgrounds;
  • prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced work environment;
  • make the school environment lively with a good sense of humor

Secondary School Mathematics Teacher

  • Planning and presenting lessons to facilitate students' understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
  • Preparing and distributing learning material such as notes, assignments, and quizzes.
  • Mark work, give appropriate feedback and maintain records of pupils' progress and development
  • Prepare pupils for external examinations and competitions
  • Manage pupil behavior in the classroom and on school premises, and apply appropriate and effective measures in cases of misbehavior
  • Communicate with parents over pupils' progress and participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and organizational training events
  • Sourcing the resources and supplies needed for lessons.
  • Ensuring that the classroom remains safe and conducive to learning.
  • Grading assignments and quizzes in a timely manner.
  • Invigilating quizzes and final examinations.
  • Documenting and reporting on students' progress.
  • Attending meetings with parents and staff.
  • Bachelor's degree in Education with a specialization in Mathematics, or equivalent.
  • Computer Skills
  • At least 3 year(s) of relevant teaching experience in schools.
  • Ability to teach core academic subjects other than Math would be an added advantage.
