Roles & Responsibilities

Job Descriptions

  • Supervise personnel engaged in the environmental, health and safety (EH&S) functions within the Institution.
  • Provide the leadership and direction to develop, implement, and oversee a sound safety program.
  • Implement policies and procedures to assure awareness of and compliance with EH&S requirements of the organization. Responsible for supervising personnel engaged in monitoring and preventing chemical; biological, radiological and physical hazards present throughout the work sites.
  • Keep informed on all existing and proposed changes in EH&S regulations.
  • Always advise workers to take necessary safety precautions and work safely.
  • To report immediately any accidents, schedule falling behind, damage of equipment, etc.
  • Support and maintain the areas of Safety, Quality, Environmental and Health Management like ISO 45001.
  • Preparation of all required Safety documents.
  • Managing building safety for dormitory and factory.
  • Provide Safety supervision on site where necessary.
  • Any adhoc duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Nitec or Diploma in Engineering, possesses WSQ Advanced Certificate in WSH (Level B)
  • Any safety related certificate will be an added advantage
  • Possesses knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health Act and relevant COP Implementation
  • Min. 2 years of work experience relevant to the work to be carried out by a WSH coordinator, and experience in ISO 45001 Audit
  • This job involves on site supervision and preferably if candidate has a transport e.g. motorcycle.
  • Only Singaporean or Singapore PR may apply
  • This is a 2 months contract role, renewable or option to convert based on work performance.
