Our Banking Operations department stands out for the excellence of its unique tailor-made service, recognized by customers and the market alike. Nearly 200 employees work closely together in Switzerland and Singapore to handle the banking operations of demanding customers.

At the heart of our strategy, we are looking for a qualified JAVA expert to work on deployment activities, System administration (IBM Websphere) and CICD.

Your Responsibilities

• Work with Run Team on ensuring that S2I system for non-production (DEV, INT, SIM, UAT, etc) are available and functional.
• Work on incident management for environment and deployment issues.
• The candidate should also have a solid experience in Java programming, Jenkins, GitLab and XL Deploy/Release pipeline design and implementation.
• Work as a production L2 Engineer to ensure the run of the applications in his perimeter in the different environments (DEV, INT, SIM, UAT)

Your core competencies

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years in JAVA expertise as core competency
• Well versed in GitLab and Jenkins framework for Packaging and Deployment.
• Proven experience in debug release and deployment issues (Merge conflicts, Jenkins jobs, etc).
• Troubleshoot and investigate environment availability and performance issues.
• Able to automate dashboard reports, providing system status for Non Production environments.
• Excellent knowledge of Git flow and branching strategies
• Good inter-team collaboration skills for BAU and project initiatives.
• Experience with ability to lead DevOps Activities and Implementations effectively across organizations and engagements.
• Design, build and maintain the CI/CD infrastructure and tools
• Experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD process using tools like SVN, Git, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes and Ansible with Python.
• Experienced in creation, integration and administration of CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins, Nexus.
• Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery with Git, Nexus, Jenkins and XL Deploy and comfortable in maintaining and enhancing the code.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure for the WAS, MQ, Tomcat, JBoss, IHS Application servers and Webservers.
• Hands-on Experience with UNIX environment mainly Linux along with windows OS.
• Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments
• Experience with Docker containerization and clustering (Kubernetes)
• Communication with users to gather DevOps requirements and analyze/address issues
• Able to understand COBOL programming
