Roles & Responsibilities

PERMANENT PART TIME (25 HOURS/WEEK)

JOB DISCRIPTION:

· Develop and implement new lesson plans and other creative activities

· Create a fun and interactive learning environment

· Conduct daily classroom activities to meet the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical needs of each child.

· To plan the co-delivery of the programme with your partner teacher.

· To establish routines and enforce appropriate classroom management procedures.

· To ensure children are supervised and safe at all times.

· To serve as a positive inspiration and role model to the children, and to behave at all times in a way that is ethically sound.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Is able to lead by example
  • Diploma in early Childhood
  • Familiar with play-based approach would be great but not necessary
  • Flexible, energetic, enthusiastic and patient
  • Compassionate and understanding
  • Imaginative and creative and a sense of humour
  • Ability to nurture children and build their self esteem
  • Ability to engage children and deal with them in a positive and caring manner
  • Strong language skills (oral and written)
