Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer, who also has expertise in Crystal Reports development and integration. The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills in Java, experience in reporting tools, and the ability to design, implement, and optimize enterprise applications and reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java/J2EE frameworks.
  • Develop, customize, and maintain Crystal Reports for business applications.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
  • Integrate reports with Java applications, ensuring data accuracy and performance.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize existing applications and reports.
  • Participate in the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including coding, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Create technical documentation, including design documents, test plans, and deployment guides.
  • Work closely with QA teams to ensure quality and performance of deliverables.
  • Provide production support and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years of hands-on experience in Java development (Core Java, J2EE).
  • Strong experience in Crystal Reports design, development, and integration.
  • Solid knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL) and SQL query optimization.
  • Experience with Web Services (REST/SOAP) integration.
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or Struts.
  • Knowledge of version control tools (Git, SVN, etc.).
  • Experience in debugging and performance tuning of applications and reports.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Familiarity with modern build tools (Maven/Gradle).
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
