Senior Sales and Marketing Manager

• Develop and implement a data-driven sales and marketing strategy that leverages online platforms and campaigns to drive brand awareness and student acquisition across local and international markets
• Spearhead innovative branding initiatives and cross-channel marketing campaigns to build a strong institutional reputation and attract high-calibre students
• Lead recruitment efforts for both local and international markets through strategic activities such as roadshows, career fairs, and course previews
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including new and existing local/overseas partners, in-country managers, agents, institutions, and internal teams
• Provide strategic direction and leadership to the local and international student recruitment teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, formulate responsive strategies, and adjust business plans as needed
• Collaborate with Heads of Academic to formulate student enrolment strategies that align with institutional budget targets
• Drive results by achieving and exceeding student recruitment and revenue targets set for the financial year
• Develop and execute an effective marketing and communications plan to meet recruitment goals and elevate the institution's visibility and positioning in line with the Strategic Plan
• Address market challenges with practical and effective solutions, ensuring timely and appropriate implementation
• Lead the department's operations by ensuring adequate staffing, capability development, and motivation to support departmental goals
• Ensure compliance with institutional policies and procedures, including data accuracy and confidentiality
• Manage departmental budgets and resources efficiently and effectively
• Provide timely, accurate reporting on departmental performance, including quarterly updates to senior leadership and the Board of Directors
• Deliver regular monthly and quarterly reports with insights and strategic recommendations to senior management

Requirements:

• Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
• Preferably at least 10 years of successful experience in sales and marketing within the private education sector, including relevant experience in Malaysia or comparable markets
• Proven track record in implementing sales and marketing strategies that deliver growth and impact
• Strong understanding of the education landscape and the evolving needs of international students in Malaysia and the region
• Excellent analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
• Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving, negotiation, and influencing skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities
• The position is based in Johor Bahru, Malaysia
• Salary will be offered in Malaysian Ringgit (RM)
