Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking experienced Valve/Pump Fitters to join our team, specializing in the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial valves and pumps for Power Plant and Oil & Gas projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, a commitment to safety, and a proactive approach to maintaining equipment reliability in compliance with Singapore's Ministry of Manpower (MOM) safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation & Maintenance:

- Install, fit, and align industrial valves and pumps as per technical drawings and specifications.

- Conduct routine maintenance and servicing to ensure optimal performance of valves and pumps.

2. Repair & Overhauling:

- Diagnose faults and perform repairs on malfunctioning valves and pumps, including replacing parts such as seals, gaskets, and bearings.

- Overhaul and refurbish pumps and valves as part of scheduled maintenance.

3. Testing & Inspection:

- Perform pressure testing and flow testing to verify valve and pump integrity and functionality.

- Inspect equipment for wear, corrosion, or other issues that may impact performance.

4. Safety & Compliance:

- Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE, and ensure compliance with MOM regulations.

- Identify potential hazards during operations and implement corrective measures.

5. Documentation:

- Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.

- Provide detailed reports to supervisors and project teams.

Skills:

- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and piping schematics.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

- Familiarity with precision tools such as micrometers and dial gauges.

- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

- Physical fitness and the ability to work in challenging environments
