Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description

  • Assists the Project Manager with implementing, maintaining, and improving the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and Green & Gracious Builder Scheme.
  • Ensures compliance with environmental regulations and the site-specific Health & Safety Management System (HSMS).
  • Manages the site-specific environmental control program and identifies necessary updates for the Project Manager.
  • Conducts regular workplace environmental inspections and maintains detailed records.
  • Analyzes data on environmental inspection failures, NEA inspection results, and violations to identify root causes and recommend improvements.
  • Coordinates with agencies such as NEA and PUB, and prepares professional EHS-related correspondence.
  • Recommends EHS administrative charges for subcontractors with repeated environmental violations to enforce site requirements.
  • Maintains essential documents, including pest control reports, waste registers, and vector control plans.
  • Leads the Environmental Control Officer (ECO) team, including workers, to execute ECO tasks when required.

Requirements

  • NEA registered ECO.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
