The Opportunity

It is an opportunity for an experienced Account Servicing Officer to join their team

The Job

1. Serve as a generalist and subject matter expert in account services, and work closely with internal stakeholders

2. Authorize and handle complex processes related to judicial management, requiring specialized skills and experience

3. Manage a diverse range of complex cases, including bankruptcy/voluntary liquidation, injunction/discovery/garnishee order, bailors/maintenance enforcement order, unsound mind cases, lasting power of attorney (LPA) and revocation, and deceased handling

4. Liaise with external parties, such as legal representatives, government agencies, and other stakeholders, to ensure efficient and effective case management

5. Able to work independently and sharing knowledge and best practices

6. Continuously improve processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience

7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement innovative solutions to the processes

8. Reads, interprets, and manages legal/court documents submitted external parties such as the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) and law firms

The Talent

  • Strong foundational understanding of banking operations and account servicing.
  • Ability to interpret and manage legal and court documents, such as bankruptcy orders, injunctions, and lasting power of attorney (LPA) is a plus.
  • Experience in handling complex customer cases involving legal or regulatory matters.
  • Able to work independently and take initiative in solving problems and improving processes.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and banking systems; experience with process improvement or automation.
