Roles & Responsibilities

CHIEF ENGINEER

Job Description

- Oversee the maintenance and operation of all onboard machinery.

- Monitor fuel and consumable usage, aiming for cost-effective operations, includes ordering lubricants from procurement report to marine team.

- Track inventory, ensuring that spare parts and supplies are available as needed, and avoid overstocking.

- Perform troubleshooting and repair of critical machinery to restore normal operation.

- Ensuring that all machinery, equipment, and systems are maintained in good working condition and operate efficiently.

- Ensure the ship's engine room operates in accordance with international maritime regulations, including safety, pollution prevention, and operational standards.

- Report to the Captain and marine team about any significant engineering issues or concerns.

- Ensure tugboat is safe to use at all time.

- Assist in all vessel movements.

- Other Ad-Hoc Duties.

Requirements

· Possess excellent adaptability, flexibility.

· Efficient, Good Analytical Skills and Able to work independently.

· Minimum 3 years of experience.

· Class 2 Engine Driver License.

· Experience in a marine construction company is favorable, however, fresh graduates may apply.

· Able to start work immediately

· Singaporeans/ Singaporean PR
