Claims Executive / Senior Executive
Responsibilities:
- Provide effective motor claims service to policyholders and agents/brokers, ensuring the smooth management of motor claims.
- Handle various types of claims, including own damage, total loss, third-party property, and third-party injury claims.
- Liaise with policyholders, intermediaries, investigators, surveyors, adjusters, lawyers, third-party claimants, sister companies, and other relevant parties.
- Train and guide assistants in their support roles.
- Manage and process claims efficiently, professionally, and fairly, adhering to service benchmarks or protocols approved by management.
- Manage third-party claims, collaborating with third-party workshops and claimants.
- Communicate with panel solicitors/third-party solicitors for cases involving Writ of Summons, referring matters to solicitors for appearances if settlements cannot be reached, and seeking advice on liability and quantum.
- Pursue recovery claims and follow up periodically.
- Add value to underwriters by advising on issues identified during claims handling, such as breaches of policy terms, claim experience, NCD matters, etc.
- Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in handling motor . WICA insurance claims.
- CGI certification is highly preferred.
- Dynamic, knowledgeable, and adaptable.
- Strong team spirit, conscientious, tactful, and customer-focused.
- Well-versed in insurance principles.
