Job Description

  • Position Title: Teacher – Malay Language/ Malay Language Teacher
  • Working Location: Central
  • Working Hours: 5 days (Mon – Fri: 9.00am – 6.00pm)
  • Salary Package: Up to $4500 + Variable Bonus
  • Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct group and individual lessons, including general, conversational, and exam preparation courses, across face-to-face, blended, and online formats.
  • Lessons may occur at our school or the client's office.
  • Allocate at least 10 hours weekly for lesson planning, grading, monitoring progress, and developing teaching resources.
  • Participate in meetings, training, peer reviews, and extra-curricular activities.
  • Other ad-hoc duties which may be assigned

  • Hold a language teaching certification and a university degree or higher.
  • Preferably 2,000 hours of L2 classroom teaching with a proven track record.
  • Demonstrates excellent planning and organizational abilities to efficiently handle both teaching and administrative duties.
  • Possesses strong computer skills and is versatile in adapting teaching approaches for both in-person and online formats to accommodate all learners.
