Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Attend onboard for maintenance, inspection, repair, troubleshooting, and modification activities.
  • Manage field activities, job scheduling, and service coordination.
  • Resolve malfunctions and oversee repairs and technical improvements.
  • Install new systems and technology on-site.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and safe operation of onsite equipment.
  • Supervise and direct technicians/engineers during service assignments.
  • Prepare detailed service reports including job progress, working/traveling time, technical advice, and recommendations.
  • Provide job progress updates to superiors in a timely manner.
  • Deliver technical support and training for customers, service agents, and internal teams.
  • Arrange necessary parts, drawings, and documentation for service agents.
  • Maintain tools in safe working condition to ensure service quality.
  • Develop manuals and support documents to share technical experience with other engineers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve service and project objectives.
  • Gather and share customer feedback with internal teams to support service improvement.
  • Review maintenance lists and service reports for sales support.
  • Cover all responsibilities of a Technician when required.
  • Undertake any other ad-hoc tasks or assignments as directed.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/ Degree in Marine/Electrical/Mechanical or related field
  • 3 - 5 years of electrical experience.
  • Strong eagerness to learn and acquire skills for new products, systems, and tasks.
  • Capable of handling customer technical support via email, phone, or messenger services.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Knowledge in Marine Engines (Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic, or Pneumatic systems).
