Roles & Responsibilities

You will be part of the application team in providing DevSecOps BAU enhancements and maintenance of applications supporting the currency management operations. The BAU operations covers the maintaining of operational hygiene of the application (e.g. patch testing, vulnerability management) and incident management. For BAU enhancements, team members will gather requirements from business users and liaise with the cloud team and application vendor for application maintenance in GCC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deploy patches, upgrades, and fixes using cloud computing skills (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Design, implement, and maintain monitoring and alerting systems across the full application stack.
  • Collaborate with developers, third-party software providers, and cloud vendors to troubleshoot and resolve incidents and technical issues.
  • Support and maintain CI/CD automation processes; assist developers with build and deployment workflows.
  • Conduct regular security vulnerability scans; remediate and harden systems and applications as necessary.
  • Work closely with cloud platform and solution architects to ensure compliance with enterprise and platform change requirements.
  • Identify and address audit findings and failures in security controls.
  • Automate operational processes, data handling, and security controls to support efficient operations with clear metrics.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical and operational documentation.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Proven expertise in configuring core AWS services, including:

    EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda

    Network Load Balancer (NLB), Application Load Balancer (ALB), Web Application Firewall (WAF)

    Security Groups
  • Strong experience with DevOps tools:

    Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, Nexus IQ
  • Practical experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Zabbix and Kibana.
  • Background in application development and middleware configuration.
  • Experience managing and remediating security vulnerabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in integrating applications with AWS RDS.
  • Working knowledge of networking protocols and services such as:

    SFTP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, and Routing
