Position: Quality Technician (12 months Renewable Contract)

Venue: Lab Environment (West)/ Bendemeer

Working Hours: Office Working Hours

Summary:

Responsible for performing electrical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning test equipment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute validation test plan on SSD devices on PC systems.
  • Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
  • Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality, recommends and implement test coverage improvement actions.
  • Perform Failure analysis and work with other function groups to resolve SSD system issues.
  • Provide system or SSD analysis support for customer.
  • Able to communicate well and work as a team.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Electrical and Electronicsl Engineering or equivalent related field/ experience is preferred
  • Experience working with PC/Notebooks/Workstation (PC Setup, PC troubleshooting)
  • Working experience in either SSD or HDD industry would be an advantage
  • Experience with NVMe storage interface protocols and Windows/Linux Operating Systems will be plus
  • Knowledge of storage device drivers and/or PCIE chipset register configurations would be beneficial
  • Experience using PCIe/NVMe bus analyzers and oscilloscopes would be beneficial
  • Conduct inspections and troubleshooting at customer sites
