Qualifications

B TECH or BE or MBA grade in Computer Science/ Information Systems or related IT Area

Our Ideal Candidate

  • 9 Years of Experience in COBOL, CICS, VSAM, IMS Database, JCL, DFSORT/ICETOOL, IBM Batch utilities, EZTRIEVE, REXX, webservices (Json, XML), MQ, Endevor, XPEDITOR, Agile methodologies, SCRUM, ADO or JIRA
  • Web services (JSON, XML), MQ
  • Micro focus Cobol, Enterprise Developer, Enterprise Server
  • Banking Domain, Trade Finance application
  • Mainframe to Microfocus or any other midrange platform migration experience would be a added advantage
  • Experience in data migration from mainframe to LINUX platform

Role Specific Technical Competencies

  • Proficiency in development using MF COBOL, CICS, JCL, VSAM & IMS
  • Participate in technical discussions with vendor/business to understand the problem statement and provide suggestion/solutions to solve complex problems
  • Learn new set of midrange emulator tools and support rehosting project
  • Support the application on mainframe and midrange
  • Development & UT
  • Establishing connectivity with interface systems and support integration testing
  • Identify hotpots/performance issues and fine tune them to reduce the run time/save costs
  • Support all Independent testing like SIT,OAT,UAT,UVT
  • Implementation and post implementation support
  • Able to manage high sev incidents document existing functional services and interfaces
