Roles & Responsibilities

Our client is a supplier of maritime and industrial electronic products and they have a few job openings for the Senior Draftsperson position

Responsibilities

  • Create outline and detailed drawings for new build and retrofit projects as required by relevant authorities or customers.
  • Prepare preliminary drawings according to sales quotation requirements.
  • Produce single-line, termination, and arrangement drawings based on scope of supply.
  • Compile and submit vendor documentation for customer and class society approval.
  • Ensure all drawings and documentation comply with statutory and client standards.
  • Monitor and update engineering drafting progress to meet project deadlines.
  • Revise and maintain drawing records in accordance with quality standards.
  • Coordinate with project engineers to resolve technical and drafting issues.
  • Support the organization of drawing files and supporting documents.
  • Assist section managers and supervisors with ad-hoc drafting or documentation tasks.

Requirements

  • Minimum NTC 2/3 or ITE qualification with strong AutoCAD (2D/3D) proficiency.
  • Experience drafting for marine, shipboard, or industrial projects preferred.
  • Knowledge of electrical or electronic systems is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 18001 standards beneficial.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PDF).
