Responsibiliteiten
  • Algemeen management van alle Application & Research Technology (ART) activiteiten voor het Market Segment (MS) Industrial & Transportation (INT) in Asia Pacific. Efficiënt gebruik en coördinatie van ART lab resources in Japan, Zuid-Korea, Singapore en India.
  • Samenwerken met sales, SCM, PL en R&D om bedrijfsdoelen te behalen.
  • Identificeren, verwerven en realiseren van klantprojecten en kansen samen met het commerciële team.
  • Opbouwen en onderhouden van belangrijke zakelijke contacten en technische ondersteuning bieden aan globale key accounts.
  • Partnerschappen ontwikkelen met regionale accounts en volledige technische ondersteuning bieden.
  • Deelnemen aan en bijdragen aan activiteiten van Global COEs (Transportation, Powder, Marine & Protective).
  • Leiden van het ART team ter ondersteuning van innovatieprojecten uit andere regio's.
  • Initiëren en uitvoeren van regionale innovatieprojecten in samenwerking met R&D.
  • Bijdragen aan IP strategie voor MS INT.
  • Ontwikkelen van talent binnen het ART team en zorgen voor optimale prestaties.
  • Zorgen dat INT vertegenwoordigd is op belangrijke technische conferenties.
  • Zorgen voor naleving van EHSQ maatregelen en vereisten voor alle labs.
Vereisten
  • Minimaal 5 jaar ervaring in technisch management met een bewezen staat van dienst. Ervaring in de coatingindustrie is een pré.
  • Master of PhD in organische chemie, polymeerkunde, chemische techniek of een gerelateerd veld.
  • Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en intercultureel bewustzijn voor het beheer van meerdere labs in verschillende landen.
  • Beheersing van MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Vloeiend in Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.
  • Bereidheid tot reizen binnen de regio en wereldwijd.
