Overview

We are seeking an experienced Training Manager to lead all training initiatives for our team of Digital Officers and volunteers. This role is crucial in ensuring that all personnel are well-equipped with the necessary knowledge, skills, and service mindset to deliver exceptional support, especially to senior learners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all training matters for Digital Officers, including:

    Onboarding training

    On-the-Job Training (OJT)

    Product training

    Regular currency/refresher sessions to capture new operational insights
  • Ensure all Digital Officers:

    Achieve at least 80% in onboarding training

    Pass OJT before being certified as "Service Ready" and deployed
  • Customise training content and intensity according to the specific responsibilities of each Digital Officer role
  • Ensure all Digital Officers complete Geragogy Guidelines for Training Senior Learners (SS 693) to effectively engage and support elderly learners
  • Monitor and track training progress, maintaining reports on attendance and individual course results
  • Plan and deliver at least 50 volunteer training sessions annually (up to 30 participants per session, 3 hours each)
  • Deliver the Authority's prescribed curriculum using varied pedagogical techniques to suit different learning styles and promote service excellence

Requirements

  • Possess at least an Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) or equivalent qualification
  • Strong experience in training design, delivery, and evaluation
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in training for service excellence and engaging senior learners preferred
