Roles & Responsibilities

1. Sales and Customer Support
  • Product Sales: Recommending and selling bicycles, parts, and accessories tailored to customers' needs (e.g., road bikes, mountain bikes, kids' bikes).
  • Customer Service: Assisting customers with queries, providing advice on bike selection, sizing, and maintenance.
  • Online Shop Management: Managing the online store, updating product listings, handling online inquiries, and processing orders.
  • Inventory Management: Keeping track of stock levels for bikes, parts, and accessories.
2. Repair and Maintenance Services
  • Bike Repairs: Diagnosing and fixing mechanical issues like gear shifting problems, flat tires, or broken chains.
  • Routine Maintenance: Performing tune-ups, brake adjustments, chain lubrication, wheel truing, and suspension servicing.
  • Assembly: Assembling new bicycles and ensuring they're road-ready before delivery.
  • Customization: Adding or swapping components such as saddles, pedals, handlebars, or wheels based on customer preferences.
3. Bike Fitting and Customization
  • Bike Fitting: Adjusting the bike's frame, seat height, and handlebars to match a rider's size and riding style for optimal comfort and performance.
  • Upgrades and Builds: Custom-building bikes from the frame up or upgrading parts like drivetrain systems, wheels, and brakes.
4. Promotions and Community Engagement
  • Events and Workshops: Hosting bike maintenance clinics, group rides, or community cycling events to promote cycling culture.
  • Marketing: Running promotions, creating content for social media, and driving sales campaigns to attract customers.
  • Partnerships: Building relationships with local cycling clubs or fitness communities to grow the customer base.
5. Trade Services
  • Bicycle Trade-In: Inspecting and evaluating used bicycles for trade-in, refurbishing them for resale, or disposing of them sustainably.
  • Secondhand Sales: Selling refurbished bikes at a lower price point to cater to budget-conscious customers.
6. Training and Development
  • Staff Training: Ensuring team members are well-versed in technical skills and customer interaction.
  • Industry Knowledge: Staying updated on new cycling technologies, gear trends, and safety standards.
