Position: Senior Automation Tester

Experience Required: 6–10 years

Key Technologies: Test Automation (Web, API, Backend) | Tricentis Testim | Selenium | JavaScript / Java

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Automation Tester who is fluent in Mandarin and capable of building and maintaining robust automated testing solutions for complex backend systems and APIs. This role involves working closely with developers, QA teams, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks for backend and API services.
  • Partner with development teams to review requirements and translate them into effective test strategies.
  • Write and maintain automation scripts using JavaScript or Java for complex testing scenarios.
  • Integrate automated test suites into the CI/CD pipeline for seamless and continuous quality checks.
  • Conduct test executions, analyze results, and log defects with clear documentation.
  • Leverage tools like Selenium, Tricentis Testim, or other low-code automation platforms (e.g., TestSigma, Katalon) to optimize test coverage.
  • Stay updated with advancements in automation tools, frameworks, and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years in software test automation, with a strong emphasis on backend and API testing.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript (primary) or Java for building custom automation scripts and handling complex workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing tools/frameworks (Postman, Pytest, Requests).
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API concepts, JSON, XML, and related data structures.
  • Experience in working with databases such as PostgreSQL for test data preparation and validation.
  • Familiaritywith frontend/UI automation tools (Selenium, Cypress) and knowledge of frameworks like React is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Mandarin and English.
