Land Program Manager, Data Center, Real Estate

TheGlobal Acquisition and Development Team is a critical component ofGoogle's Cloud Infrastructure organization. We are responsible forthe strategic acquisition and pre-development of real estate tosupport the rapid expansion of Google's global data centerfootprint.
As a Land Program Manager, you willplay a pivotal role in securing and pre-positioning real estate forGoogle's data centers across APAC. You will be responsible formanaging all aspects of land acquisition and pre-developmentprojects from initial site identification and due diligence tonegotiation and closing. You will work with cross-functional teams,including Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Community Engagement toensure the successful delivery ofprojects.

Jobresponsibilities
- Drive the strategic acquisition and pre-development ofland across the APAC portfolio, ensure timely and cost-effectiveproject delivery while upholding exceptional quality standards.Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, includinglandowners, regulatory bodies, and community organizations tofacilitate seamless project.
- Conduct thoroughdue diligence, negotiate complex agreements, and manage all aspectsof real estate transactions.
- Identify andevaluate potential data center sites, consider factors such asinfrastructure availability, regulatory environment, and communityimpact.
- Develop and implement best practicesfor land acquisition and pre-development, proactively identify andmitigate associated risks.
- Provide regularupdates on project status and performance to the APAC Director andother keystakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, RealEstate, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program management.
- Experience with any of the following: land acquisition,site selection for high-technology, industrial-scale real estateprojects, or real estate evaluation and development.
- Experience driving agreement negotiations and managingmultiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability totravel as needed within the APACregion.
- Experience in data center, real estate or infrastructuredevelopment.
- Experience with GeographicInformation Systems (GIS) and other real estate analysistools.
- Knowledge of the regulatory environmentfor real estate development in the APAC.
- Ability to work separately and collaborate in a fluidenvironment.
- Ability to build consensus andinfluence stakeholders.
- Passion towardsGoogle's mission and a commitment toexcellence.
