Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced L3 Application Support Engineer to manage and support missioncritical Transaction Business Management Systems (TBMS).

The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Oracle 19c, JBoss EAP, and Linux, with strong experience in production support, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of enterprise-grade transaction platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the L3 escalation point for complex issues in TBMS environments.

• Provide end-to-end support, including incident analysis, root cause investigation, and permanent fixes.

• Work closely with development and infrastructure teams to deploy, configure, monitor, and optimize applications.

• Manage application servers (JBoss EAP), including deployments, tuning, and patching.

• Handle Oracle 19c database tasks such as performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting.

• Monitor application logs and system health on Linux environments.

• Automate repetitive tasks using shell scripts or other tools.

• Participate in release cycles, production rollouts, and business continuity testing.

• Ensure compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs), security, and operational standards.

• Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 6–9 years of experience in application support or system engineering roles.

• Deep understanding of Transaction Business Management Systems (TBMS).

• Hands-on experience with Oracle 19c (PL/SQL, performance tuning, backup/recovery, etc.).

• Strong knowledge of JBoss EAP (deployment, clustering, configuration).

• Proficiency in Linux environments (Red Hat / CentOS preferred), with scripting (Bash, Shell).

• Experience in performance monitoring, capacity planning, and root cause analysis.

• Familiarity with ITIL processes (incident, change, problem management).
