Job Description

The Executive / Senior Executive – Resource Development is responsible for meeting fundraising targets to support SPD's programmes and services for people with disabilities. The role works closely with cross-functional teams—including Direct Service Programmes—and other members of SPD's Community Partnerships Division to align fundraising goals with organisational priorities. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference through strategic fundraising, donor engagement, and creative communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, lead, execute, and market fundraising initiatives—including both physical and digital campaigns and events—to meet fundraising targets.
  • Research and identify potential corporate donors, understand their giving motivations, and tailor engagement strategies to cultivate new partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong donor relationships through timely acknowledgements, recognition, and impact updates to ensure a positive donor experience and encourage long-term support.
  • Deliver engaging presentations to promote SPD's work, as well as fundraising events and activities.
  • Support corporate partners in their fundraising efforts, including offering guidance and attending events to foster collaboration.
  • Develop and design compelling fundraising materials such as proposals, donor reports, sponsorship packages, appeal letters, and publicity for events.
  • Undertake any other duties or tasks as assigned by Management in support of departmental and organisational goals.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience; prior experience in fundraising is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills, with confidence in engaging donors face-to-face.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in organising and managing events from planning through to execution.
  • A resourceful and creative team player who is also able to work independently.
