What The Role Is

At IRAS Law Division, our Legal Executives help our lawyers to maintain the integrity of the tax system in Singapore. Join the best legal tax team in Singapore and make a meaningful difference.

What You Will Be Working On

As a Legal Executive, you anticipate the needs of IRAS' legal teams in providing strong legal support, including strong litigation support. You will also handle the Division's administrative, finance and procurement matters, and help coordinate with other divisions of IRAS and external stakeholders to achieve smooth running of the Division's operations. You will also play a role in advancing the digitalisation of work at IRAS in innovative ways.

Reporting to a Director of Law Division, your primary function will be to support the legal teams in their work and to support the Division in administrative matters.

What We Are Looking For

  • Good command of English and good writing skills
  • Good teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Meticulous and organised in work
  • Analytical, independent and self-motivated
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, Adobe Acrobat is necessary
  • Knowledge or experience in eLitigation, paralegal or legal secretarial duties will be useful
  • Desire to serve in public service with a positive and helpful attitude
