Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general back-office operations, including settlement and input of vouchers for loans, securities, and money market transactions.
  • Handle account processing for banking operations such as Deposits, Loans, Remittances, Securities, Money Market, and Foreign Exchange.
  • Carry out various administrative processes related to settlements.
  • Operate and manage key systems including the accounting system, settlement system (SWIFT), and custody system.
  • Monitor and maintain adequate account balances by checking daily bank statements.
  • Monitor fund transfers, including inward and outward remittances, and customers' account activities.
  • Conduct AML/CFT checks and manage customer remittance compliance.
  • Provide support for human resources, accounting, and general administrative functions.
  • Handle FATCA and CRS reporting.
  • Assist in corporate tax filings.
  • Manage expense-related tasks such as name screening, invoice processing, payments, and GST refund claims.
  • Support personnel-related operations including salary and claim payments, and individual income tax filing.
  • Perform general affairs duties such as contract management.
  • Carry out any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience working in a bank
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate issues to management
  • Team player
