Full-time Lecturer, Generative AI

Department of Continuing Education

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Lecturer in Generative AI to design and deliver a comprehensive curriculum on large language models, diffusion models, and prompt engineering. You will lead students through hands-on labs and projects to develop, fine-tune, and deploy generative models ethically and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

· Create and teach modules on Transformer architectures, diffusion models, and generative AI workflows.

· Design labs that involve LLM fine-tuning (Hugging Face, OpenAI API) and prompt engineering exercises.

· Educate students on AI ethics, bias mitigation, and responsible deployment.

· Incorporate tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and LangChain into practical exercises.

· Partner with industry experts to provide real-world generative AI use cases.

· Assess student work, maintain records, and offer detailed feedback.

· Update course materials to keep pace with rapid advancements in Generative AI.

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, or related discipline.

· A minimum of 3 years of industry experience in Generative AI models for candidates with a Master's degree, or 5 years of experience for those with a Bachelor's degree

· ACLP certification is preferred

· Hands-on proficiency with LLM frameworks (e.g., Hugging Face Transformers, OpenAI API).

· Strong understanding of AI ethics, fairness, and governance.

· Excellent communication, presentation, and mentorship skills.
