THIS IS A 2-YEARS RENEWABLE / CONVERTIBLECONTRACT ROLE.

The Manager ispart of Defence Collective Singapore (DCS's) School ProgrammesDepartment. The Manager will be leading the team responsible forplanning, conceptualising and developing MOE curriculum-basedprogramme, content and educational resources for key NationalEducation (NE) programmes and events, designed to engage schoolaudience groups across all DCS entities.

Thejobholder also ensures successful implementation of all engagementprogrammes in terms of achieving projected KPIs (NE experience,Programme engagement etc). This would include themed-basedprojects, education resources (physical, digital and hybridformats), centre-based, outreach and digital programmes. Thisposition will report directly to Head of the School ProgrammesDepartment.

KeyResponsibilities:
  • Leadone of the School Programme's team to develop new, high volume,special thematic programmes/events (e.g., TD Day, Year-End PostExams etc.) for school audience groups.
  • Monitor the conceptualisation, design and development, aswell as the conduct of events and programmes in terms of meetinglearning outcomes, alignment with MOE curriculum (workshops,learning stations, logistical support, co-ordination with internal/external stakeholders/ partners).
  • Projectmanage and conduct analysis of programme development andimplementation with internal and external stakeholders to maintainhigh quality of NE/customer experience and product.
  • Work closely with MarCom and Sales teams in the publicityand sales of programme/products, overseeing the analysis andevaluation of their effectiveness in meeting keystakeholders/target groups' requirements.
  • Planand monitor procurement and administration processes to align withcompany's corporate and financial governance/guidelines(documentation, SOPs, finance, budget forecast/ &utilisation).
  • Plan manpower deployment andassign key responsibilities equitably to team members to ensuresuccessful implementation of programmes/events/projects (based onjob designation)
  • Conduct regular performancereviews and chart out development plans, learning opportunities (inconsultation with the Head of School Programmes)
  • Provide support to other Programmes teams and/ordepartments in the SDC for key/larger scale events/programmes;and
  • Carry out ad-hoc duties / projects asassigned.
AdditionalResponsibilities:
  • Ability to infuse novel teaching methodologies (such asgamification, scenario-based learning etc.) to ensuredifferentiated learning across different target groups whilstmaintaining quality of engagement and learning
  • Ability to work with internal & external stakeholdersto ensure smooth project implementation within potentially tighttimelines and to deliver engaging and meaningfulprogrammes.
  • Ability to work closely withstrategic partners such as MOE and schools, and manage expectationsof multiple stakeholders/partners, yet ensure DCS's interest iskept on high priority.

Requirements:
  • At least 5 or more years' experience in educationallyfocused institutions or attractions, preferably with 1-2 years inmanagerial role.
  • NIE-Trainededucator
  • Keen interest and firm believer inNational Education
  • Relevant experience inprogramme development and project management
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking,communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills
  • Good supervisory, training and project management skills,i.e., organised, able to multi-task and handle tightdeadlines.
  • Have a strong command of bothwritten and spoken English.
  • Good knowledge andapplication of MS Office applications.
