Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are seeking a Product Manager (3-5 years of experience) to support the development and commercialization of innovative payment solutions at a leading regional bank on a 12-month contract. This role will focus on driving digital and tokenized payment initiatives, managing key partner relationships, and improving the mobile wallet customer journey. You will collaborate with internal teams, payment networks, fintech partners, and technology vendors to deliver impactful and customer-centric payment solutions.

Mandatory Skill-set

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field;
  • Must have 3–5 years of relevant experience in payments, product management, or financial services;
  • Must have strong knowledge of digital payments, mobile wallets, or emerging payment technologies;
  • Must have experience working with external partners or vendors (e.g. fintechs);
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret market and customer data;
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desired Skill-set

  • Prior experience in product commercialization or payments infrastructure projects;
  • Familiarity with compliance, regulatory, or resiliency requirements in payments;
  • Experience in customer journey mapping or digital product enhancements;
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced and evolving payments environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and commercialization of innovative payment products, including tokenized and digital solutions;
  • Manage relationships with payment partners, networks, fintechs, and technology vendors;
  • Assist in negotiating commercial terms and preparing pitches for management and stakeholders;
  • Oversee compliance and resiliency of payment infrastructure, including new deployments;
  • Track market trends, customer behaviour, and emerging technologies to identify growth opportunities;
  • Drive improvements in the mobile wallet customer journey and monitor product usage performance.
