Tenure-TrackAssistant Professor in PowerEngineering.

PositionDescription
Applicants should hold a PhD degreein Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or a closely relateddiscipline. A strong background and experience in one or more ofthe following areas is required: Power Systems, Power Electronics,Electric Motors and Drive, Power Apparatus and Protection, SmartGrids, Renewable Energy Systems, Wireless PowerTransfer.

Fresh PhD graduates would beconsidered but preferences are given to candidates with relevantpost-doctoral research/teaching experience inuniversities.

Responsibilities
Thedesired candidate is expected to (inclusive but not limitedto):

ResearchExcellence

• Disseminate new research findingsin peer-reviewed journals and premier
conferences,contributing significantly to the domain of PowerEngineering.

• Secure external research funding anddevelop a top-notch research program.

• Driveindustry-relevant innovation and applications throughresearch.

Teaching andMentoring

• Deliver undergraduate and graduatecourses in Power Engineering.

• Mentor and supervisegraduate students and postdoctoral researchfellows,
fostering a collaborative researchenvironment.

• Contribute to curriculum development andrefresh for Power Engineering.

Serviceand Professionalism

• Enhance researchcollaboration between EEE and industry partners.

• Engagein school, university, and professional serviceactivities.

• Contribute to the academic community throughparticipation in conferences,
seminars, andworkshops.

Requirements
Candidateswith the following qualifications are encouraged toapply:

• A Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a relatedfield.

• A strong track-record of research and innovationin power engineering.

• Experience in teaching andmentoring students.

• Strong commitment to academicservice and leadership.

• Excellent interpersonal andcommunicationskills.
