Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to support financial analytics and develop MIS tools for a reputed bank. The role involves BAU reporting, dashboard creation, and process improvements, offering exposure to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Mandatory Skill-set

  • Strong data analysis and financial analytics;
  • Must have work experience in MIS tools development and maintenance;
  • Must have proficiency in dashboard creation and data visualization;
  • In-depth understanding of BAU/monthly reporting support;
  • Experience in process improvement and automation.

Desired Skill-set

  • Experience in the banking or financial services domain;
  • Knowledge of advanced analytics/statistical methods.

Responsibilities

BAU Support for MIS Reporting

  • Support monthly financial and cost analysis, including variance computation and driver analysis;
  • Generate, validate, and deliver MIS financial reports for Cost Management & Group Support Units;
  • Extract, cleanse, and transform data from multiple sources like financial ledgers, MIS systems, HR, procurement, and contracts to produce consolidated management-ready outputs;

Tableau Dashboard Development & Maintenance

  • Maintain and enhance existing Tableau dashboards used for MIS reporting;
  • Develop new strategic dashboards based on evolving business requirements;

Process Improvement & Operational Excellence

  • Identify areas for process optimisation, automation, and workflow improvement in monthly reporting processes;
  • Support implementation of process re-engineering initiatives for greater efficiency.
